Overview

Freemasons Foundation Tertiary Scholarships are open to students who completed Year 12 in 2025 and will be undertaking full-time study in 2026.

Applications are assessed on several factors, including academic achievement and personal or financial disadvantage. We strongly encourage applicants to upload any documents that substantiate financial hardship or demonstrate activities and achievements that go above and beyond the standard requirements, as these may strengthen your application.

Please note our office will be closed from 15 December to 5 January 2026. If you have any questions during this period, you are welcome to email enquiries@freemasonsfoundation.org, and we will respond as soon as we can.

Notification of outcomes will be emailed in March. Please ensure you regularly check your email—including your junk or spam folder—so you don’t miss any updates.

Suggested Preparation

Before starting your application, it is highly recommended that you have scanned copies of the following documents ready to upload:

  • VCE results (ATAR statement, front and back)
  • Letter of Offer from your tertiary institution
  • Any additional supporting documents such as financial statements or evidence of hardship

Handy Hints

  • Review all questions before you begin. Some may require more detailed consideration, and you can download a copy of the form if that helps you plan your responses.
  • Read each question carefully and refer to the hints provided to ensure you are giving the strongest possible answers.
  • Save your progress frequently. Technology can glitch, and we are unable to recover unsaved work.
  • Remember to submit your application once completed. If you forget to upload something or are unsure about a section, please contact us for guidance. Late submissions cannot be accepted.
  • We review every application thoroughly. Missing or incomplete information may reduce your chances of success. If you're unsure how to answer something, don’t leave it blank—reach out to our office and we will happily assist.
